Cascade Refining Inc. began buying disposable, platinum containing medical appliances in 1984 when Angioplasty and Electrophysiology were new procedures. Although there are hundreds of types and sizes of these devices, we have developed methods which allow us to quickly evaluate and pay for these scrap Platinum materials without the high minimum fees which are normally charged by Platinum refiners. Because of this and our early start, we now provice this service to hundreds of hospitals in the United States and Canada.
